Cafe Du Berry
Project Overview
Cafe du Berry is an integral part of John’s Landing, a beautiful riverside neighborhood in SW Portland, OR. Known as Portland’s oldest brunch cafe and famous for it’s signature French toast, people from all over come to Cafe Du Berry for it’s modern interpretations of French cafe-classics and intimate, homestyle setting.
Owner Mike Andersen approached me (in collaboration with Aria Media) to help refresh their branding. In order to retain 35+ years of brand recognition, we opted to update their classic coat of arms logo and create a new, vibrant color palette to modernize an otherwise quite traditional aesthetic.
